<span Courier New""> 2CЕЛЕЗЕНКА
<span Courier New"">клеток.
<span Courier New"">лимфоцитами.
<span Courier New"">деструкции.
<span Courier New"">дифференцировки./7536/87/
<span Courier New"">
<span Courier New"">венниками белойпульпы.
<span Courier New"">пульпе./2К1094-94-Им-я/

<span Courier New""> The effect of antigen stimulation on splenictransplants.
<span Courier New""> Physiological Research. 46(1):1-8, 1997.
<span Courier New"">The present paperdeals with the regeneration of splenic tissue after
<span Courier New""> autologous transplantation. Control andtransplanted rats (60 days after
<span Courier New""> operation (10(6) cells per injection). Theeffect of a primary response
<span Courier New""> was studied by a single injection,long-lasting bacteraemia was imitated
<span Courier New""> by 5 injections in weekly intervals. Spleensand transplants were
<span Courier New""> investigated by flow-cytometry andimmunohistochemistry. Additionally, the
<span Courier New""> proliferation activity and the specificantibody production against
<span Courier New""> Escherichia coli proteins were tested.Flow-cytometric analysis showed
<span Courier New""> altered behaviour of T-helper cells andB-cells in transplants following a
<span Courier New""> primary response, whereas in the multipleinjection group a difference
<span Courier New""> between the splenic and transplant responsewas restricted to macrophages
<span Courier New""> and MHC II+ cells. The results of themorphometric analysis revealed that
<span Courier New""> the cellular composition of unstimulatedtransplants was very similar to
<span Courier New""> that of the spleen with some subtlealterations. Only the marginal zone
<span Courier New""> showed more striking differences concerningthe homing of several cell
<span Courier New""> classes. Under stimulatory conditions, thesesubtle alterations became
<span Courier New""> more drastic so that CD5+ cells, B-cells andmacrophages responded in an
<span Courier New""> abnormal manner in both groups. The analysisof thymidine kinase disclosed
<span Courier New""> decreased activity in the spleen after weeklyantigen stimulation. The
<span Courier New""> stimulation index of all transplant groupswas significantly lower than
<span Courier New""> that of the spleen. The specific antibody(IgG) production after a single
<span Courier New""> immunization was highest in the transplantgroup. All groups responded
<span Courier New""> after the multiple challenge. In conclusion, the results demonstrate that
<span Courier New""> splenic transplants differs in several, butsubtle aspects from normal
<span Courier New""> splenic tissue. The main reason for most of thesealterations may be a
<span Courier New""> slightly misguided recirculation and/orhoming of cells.
